RICHARD W. KAZMAIER is president of Kazmaier Associates, Inc. of Concord, MA, a family investment company. Operations are located in the Boston, MA and Orange County, CA areas. He established the firm in 1975 after having served for 15 years as president or general manager of several different businesses.
Kazmaier graduated with an AB degree cum laude from Princeton University in 1952 and received his MBA from Harvard University in 1954. He is the 1951 Heisman Trophy winner and was voted the Male Athlete of the Year that same year as an All-American football player. He served three years active duty as an aviation ground officer with the U.S. Navy. Kazmaier serves as a director of SGMA International, a US sporting goods trade association. He is a director of Hawaii based Wailuku Water Company LLC. He also served as a trustee of Princeton University and on the Knight Foundation Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics. He was chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports having been appointed by President Reagan. Additionally Kazmaier has served as President of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame and President of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry. Dick and his wife Patti reside in Key Largo, Florida. They are parents of six daughters and have eleven grandchildren. Kazmaier is 76. |
